DEDICATED RESCUE VESSEL CREW CHIEFS

A Crew Chief is elected at a General Meeting by those who are designated crew on a vessel.
Crew Chiefs are responsible to the RV Captain and R.V. Committee for operational aspects of a specific Rescue Vessel, the availability and safe operation of the assets under their command.
A senior SAR crew on each crew is designated the SENIOR as second in command to assist the Master in all aspects of running the vessel.

There have been three vessels with the name Trillian Alpha,.
Two vessels with the name Lion Foundation Rescue.
There have been two vessels with the name ASB Rescue, a trailer boat and the existing heavy.
